Place your listings of all the thirft stores that you hit up for tiki, vintage, mod, kitch or what ever you collect. Share your places with each other so that we all have a great guide for when we travel around this huge state of ours. The best way to get accurate info on the store is to hit up switchboard.com and type in where you are living, or where you thrift and post the stores, addresses, phone numbers and if the place is worth hitting up.

<place listings my here. this is a placement holder>

North Dallas Antique Mall
(Marsh Ln. & Forest)
11722 Marsh Lane
Dallas, TX 75229
(214) 366-2100

They've got a few tiki mugs.
They all seem to cost $18 too.

I was in there a month ago and they
had a ton of Franciscan Starburst pattern
china, which I love.

Have a small section of mid-century
lamps, small tables and coffee tables upstairs.

There's several thrift stores in Denton, where I pick up stuff cheaply.
Denton Thrift (open 7 days a week and closes at 7pm)
It's in the shopping center w/Kroger, on the corner of Alice and University (or 380.) They have decorations, clothing (ALWAYS has great and cheap Hawaiian shirts), and dishes, cups, and sometimes Tiki Mugs!

Ruth's Room, thrift store....
The corner of Sunset and Carroll blvd. (just 1 block SE of Kroger and the above mentioned Denton Thrift store.) They have LOTS of decoration, dishes etc...

Denton County Friends of the Family Thrift store....
Just west of the Denton Thrift store and is in the same shopping center as Kroger (see above) and is on the WEST side/strip of the shopping center. They sell everything from books, music, dishes, decorations, etc.....

Denton Goodwill store....
on West University drive, across from Sherwin Williams paint store, about 2 blocks EAST of the corner of Bonnie Brae and University intersection.

~~~~~I have gotten Tiki type stuff from ALL of these stores~~~~~~
There are 2 other thrift stores as well in Denton, but I haven't been able to find anything that I could use Tiki related at those.
Have fun!
Thanks for the thrift shop leads. I haven't been in Denton in a couple of years. Guess I need to go check out some of those shops.
I remember seeing some pretty good antique stores around town too.
